Margaret Banjo
Founder, Alta Decca Consulting
Meg Banjo is the founder of Alta Decca Consulting and Co-Founder, African Cuisine Magazine. She is an experienced Senior Retail Professional and Consultant of over 20 years. She studied Accounting at London Guildhall University and then attended University of Arts London to specialise in Retail Buying and Merchandising and later MBA at University of Warwick with specialty in Data Analytics and Strategy.
Margaret is passionate about Retailing in general and specifically developing personalised innovative and transformational strategy for retailers including the use of merchandising methodology to developing the skills and capabilities of their workforce for sustained growth. She has worked and consulted for blue chip companies such as House of Fraser, Tesco, Monsoon, Phase Eight, Avon and Ruff & Tumble among others.
As part of her giving back to the society she gives her time and talent to coaching and mentoring the next generation looking to work in the retail industry and supporting CEOs of small/medium size BAME companies to adopt the revolutionising science of retailing.

Sarah O’Shea

Sarah O’Shea is a board-level Retail Adviser. Her career in Retail began as a Graduate Trainee on the Burton Group Buying and Merchandising graduate trainee program. She has held senior roles in Arcadia, Tesco and Peacocks where she honed a career delivering successful outcomes for these and other retail businesses and their stakeholders. Her areas of core competence include Creative and Commercial Strategy, Design, Buying and Sourcing and Business Development, along with proven track record in both growing businesses and in turnaround situations.
Sarah brings her passion for retail alive by using a rich blend of personal and technical perspectives to align the customer with the brands under her care.

Michael O Banjo
Change Management Consultant, Career and Employee Engagement Coach
Michael O Banjo is a lawyer and transportation executive. A deep organisational and business thinker, Banjo is a proponent of career and professional congruence and urges employees to bring everything to the table so they can have a work-life situation fully expressing their talents and abilities. As a manager, Banjo has helped to create and empower high impact teams in transportation and general management.
Banjo is a qualified Trainer, Coach and Mentor. He is also an accredited Equality, Diversity and Inclusion manager with experience of working in unionised organisations with diverse employee segments.
An author of a wide range of books, one of them, “Why Are You Here? Seven Dimensions of the Human Centered Workplace” opens a window into the mind of a creative, intuitive and engaging practitioner. His interest in literature and heritage resulted in his authorship of two other books, Jewels of the Yoruba Song and It’s Yoruba Heritage Workbook.
He read History & Political Science before studying Law and enrolled as Barrister and Solicitor at the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 1990. During a rich career in transportation, he studied Passenger Transport Management at Aston University, Birmingham. Later on, he undertook postgraduate studies in Management Consultancy & Organisational Change at Birkbeck College, University of London. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.

Kubi Springer

London born Kubi Springer is a Brand Specialist with 20 years experience in consumer brand marketing. Starting her career at MTV Europe, Kubi has since delivered campaigns for some of the biggest brands in the world. Her resume includes: Rolls Royce Motor Cars, Nike, Blackberry, L’Oreal Professional, Wella Professional, Justin Timberlake, Manchester United Footballer Rio Ferdinand, Mercedes- Benz Fashion Week, Sex & the City, MOBO Awards, and Blue Flame (Diddy’s Marketing and Advertising Agency) in New York, to name but a few.
A strategic marketer with a flair for commercial solutions, today Kubi is the CEO of SheBuildsBrands LTD, a boutique brand management agency with its headquarters in London, England and international reps in the Middle East, USA, South East Asia and West Africa. Known for working on extremely high profile campaigns, whilst also supporting emerging businesses, Kubi directs the team at SheBuildsBrands with a focus on the Fashion & Beauty, Luxury & Lifestyle and Entertainment Industries.
